ABOUT OUR PHILANTHROPY

Arthritis

Alpha Omicron Pi’s international philanthropy is arthritis, and our philanthropy partner is the Arthritis Foundation. Since 1967, members and chapters have raised millions of dollars to fund research, provide resources, and support those affected by arthritis, a disease that disproportionately impacts women and also affects children.

AOII’s philanthropy dollars support several impactful Arthritis Foundation initiatives, including the Juvenile Arthritis Power Pack program, Juvenile Arthritis Camps, the Juvenile Arthritis Family Summit, and the 24/7 Helpline. Our Canadian sisters proudly support The Arthritis Society of Canada, furthering our shared mission to fight arthritis and improve lives.

OUR Local Efforts

At the Beta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi, philanthropy is more than just events, it is a shared commitment that brings our sisterhood together with purpose. We are proud to support the Arthritis Foundation, raising both funds and awareness for a cause that impacts millions of individuals and families.Throughout the year, our chapter hosts events such as Go Blue Week, Pie a Pi, raffles featuring donations from local businesses, and our AOII Flower Stand. Each event represents more than just fundraising—it reflects the passion, dedication, and compassion of our members.Through these efforts, we not only make a meaningful impact in our community, but also strengthen the bonds of our sisterhood and our commitment to serving others.
